‘Married With Children’ Stars: Where Are They Now?

Married With Children was a smash hit, airing for 10 years and launching the careers of many stars we know and love, including Ed O’Neill and Christina Applegate. Have you ever wondered what the cast of Married With Children is up to now?

Ed O’Neill (Al Bundy)

Before he was wrangling Joe, Manny, Stella, and Gloria, Ed O’Neill starred as Al Bundy in Married With Children. Charming viewers with his dry sense of humor, O’Neill has had a hugely successful career, starring in films such as Wayne’s World, Wreck-It Ralph, and Finding Dory.

Ed O’Neill (Al Bundy)

David Faustino (Bud Bundy)

Child star David Faustino assumed the role of Bud Bundy when he was only 13 years old! Arguably the most loveable and brainy Bundy child, Bud was a fan favorite thanks to his unsuccessful romantic liaisons and goofy alter ego, ‘Grandmaster B.’

David Faustino (Bud Bundy)

After the show ended, Faustino continued to appear on screen, and he now works in the radio industry as the host of Old Scratch Radio Sundays on SkeeFM. In 2013, he even appeared on Modern Family alongside O’Neill!

Christina Applegate (Kelly Bundy)

The stereotypical “dumb blonde” character Kelly Bundy was played by none other than Christina Applegate. You may recognize her as Veronica Corningstone, Will Ferrell’s foil in the much-loved Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy movie franchise. However, Married With Children was her big break in the entertainment industry.

Christina Applegate (Kelly Bundy)

Today, she enjoys a successful Hollywood career, having earned a host of Tony and Golden Globe nominations. Her most recent roles have been in comedies Crash Pad and A Bad Moms Christmas.

Ted McGinley (Jefferson D’Arcy)

Ted McGinley starred on Married With Children as the handsome scam artist Jefferson D’Arcy. Having previously appeared on beloved ’80s shows Happy Days and Dynasty, McGinley didn’t quite hit the big time in Hollywood like some of his co-stars.

Ted McGinley (Jefferson D’Arcy)

However, he did bag a regular role on sitcom Hope & Faith, and took to the dancefloor in Dancing With the Stars in 2008. His most recent role was in the independent Christian drama, God’s Not Dead: A Light in the Darkness.

David Garrison (Steve Rhoades)

David Garrison featured in Married With Children as self-centered banker Steve Rhoades. Before he was a star on the show, he was a theater actor. Harold Sylvester (Griff)

Even minor characters like Griff were beloved by Married With Children fans! Griff was Al Bundy’s pal and fellow employee at the shoe store. He was also a member of Al’s ‘National Organization of Men Against Amazonian Masterhood’ organization, aka ‘NO MA’AM!’
