Robert Reed played the role of respected architect Mike Brady in The Brady Bunch . He is the patriarch of the Brady family and father of three sons: Greg, Peter and Bobby. After marrying Carol, he becomes stepfather to Marcia, Jan and Cindy.

Florence Henderson played the role of the Brady family matriarch, Carol Brady. Florence was only 35 years old when she accepted the role of her mother. In the comedy, she plays the loving yet stern mother of Marcia, Jan and Cindy and, of course, stepmother to Greg, Peter and Bobby.

Although Carol chooses to be a housewife, she is far from a housewife. Yes, she takes care of the children and the whole family, but she is much more than that. She is not only a freelance writer and sculptor, but also a political activist and singer.

Following the conclusion of The Brady Bunch , Henderson became a regular face on several The Brady Bunch spin-offs and specials . He also made other projects such as Fifty Shades of Black , Handy Manny , Matchmaker Santa , and Trophy Wife among others.

In addition to appearing in film and theater, Henderson hosted several long-running cooking and variety shows, not to mention a contestant on Dancing With the Stars ! Unfortunately, the actress passed away in 2016.
